On behalf of the Victorian Infection Control Professionals Association (VICPA) Executive and the Conference Committee, I am delighted to invite you to the 2009 VICPA Biennial Conference.

The conference provides us all, irrespective of practice setting or level of experience, with an educational opportunity to improve knowledge and enhance our professional practice. There will be ample opportunity to network with colleagues as well as discuss the latest products and services provided by our industry sponsors.

The 2009 scientific program aims to address core topics in infection prevention and control; update delegates on the science, methods and technology on which we base our practice; and provide new ideas for application.

The conference will see a collaboration of ICPs, Infectious Diseases Physicians, Microbiologists and other professionals sharing information on current education initiatives, research, case studies and the
latest advancements in infection prevention and control.
